Youth Environmental Summit (YES) 2018 in Singapore

Seven students from Grade 7 of Sekolah NOAH participated in the recent Youth Environmental Summit (YES) 2018 in Singapore last 31 January to 4 February, 2018. Close to 400 students from Southeast Asia countries and China gathered for the YES Singapore 2018, an integrated program focused on introducing youths to relevant environmental issues through inspirational seminars by prominent experts and social entrepreneurs, educational field trips and learning workshops, as well as social business conceptualizations and presentations.

The participants got the chance to design environment-related projects geared towards improving their local communities. They were mentored by industry experts and presented their envisioned social enterprise ideas to a qualified panel of judges who determined which ideas are the best when it comes to self-improvement, effort, personal achievement and potential capabilities.

The panelist gave silver award to Sekolah NOAH for their "Captain Waste Project". We would like to congratulate the students for a job well done for representing our school and Indonesia in that prestigous event.
